Yesterday, at the end of the working day, around 5 pm, suddenly all the servers of
our company , including my
Soft@Mail.Ru project, became unavailable. Administrators quickly figured out: an abnormally high load channel hosting site due to
DDOS-attack . After some time, the hoster channel “cleaned”, the servers became available. What kind of attack it was, against whom, and if against us - then why, it remained a mystery.
And now I sit, read tapes and see how Eldar Murtazin, a leading mobile technology
mobile-Review.com resource ,
writes that his site was once again turned off with a DDOS attack (recently it has been attacked often, even a 10,000 reward has been
announced dollars for information about intruders).
Remembering "our" recent DDOS, began to guess. Looked at the IP address of the Mobile-Review - 217.65.6.13; Soft@Mail.Ru - 217.65.10.30. And without whois (
one ,
two ) it can be seen that the servers are on the same provider’s network, i.e. The attack, which laid down the channel of our hoster, was aimed at Mobile-Review.
