Currently, OLED displays are used in digital cameras, mobile phones and other portable electronics, but they have not been used to create televisions. The XEL-1 is only 11 inches diagonal.


Thanks to the organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), the new TV boasts excellent image quality: good black depth, accurate color reproduction and correct display of fast moving objects, in general, everything LCD lacked (contrast ratio of 1,000,000: 1). The resource of this OLED-screen is 30 thousand hours - 10 years of operation at 8 hours per day with 45 watts of power consumption.


This miracle will appear on sale in Japan on December 1 of this year at a price of "approximately" 1,740 dollars.
