Previously, Kickstarter published statistics only on a case by case basis. Now the data will be updated daily. Kickstarter is the largest co-financing platform. In total, $ 263 million was raised with the help of kickstarter, of which 220 million were for successful projects, 27 million for unsuccessful ones. Another 16 million are now in the accounts of unfinished projects. The share of successful projects is 44.04%. Most of the successful projects - 17443 - collected from 1 to 10 thousand dollars. 168 projects collected more than 100 thousand, 7 of them - more than a million.

The vast majority of unsuccessful projects - 26,572 out of 31,938 collected less than 20% of the required amount, and 7176 did not receive a penny at all. Now 4015 projects are open on kickstarter. More than half of all the money collected falls into three categories - “movies and video,” “music,” and “design.”
