Development of a startup in 24 hours at AngelHack 2012
Hello!
Now I'm in Seattle, WA on AngelHack - this is the largest hackathon in the USA. The essence of the hackathon is to design, program and present a certain product, program, application that can change people's lives a little over 24 hours.
For 24 hours, we will try to create a Facebook application, the idea of which is to analyze existing friends of Facebook. With the help of the application, it will be possible to analyze all available contacts and make lists of friends by interest.
We will broadcast .
The team consists of 3 people participating in the Hackathon for the first time. This is Anton Volkov - product designer, Evgeny Vasenev - interface design and Sergey Generalov - programmer (s). Follow us on Twitter and Facebook (links at the bottom of the post).

Technical part:
The project is developed in python, Django, mysql. To run background tasks we plan to use Celery. At the moment we have launched two servers: Application and Mysql, based on Windows Azure (free 750 hours). It was originally intended to use Amazon AWS, but since Windows Azure - one of the sponsors, we decided to try them, after I promise you a detailed article about the experience gained.

AngelHack is the largest Hackathon in the United States, taking place June 23-24, 2012 simultaneously in several cities - San Francisco, Seattle, Boston and New York. The two winning teams receive $ 25,000 in prize money and seed investments from Right Side and Instanta Capital. Top 20 teams will receive mentoring tips for three weeks from AngelHack partners.
