MVA has published a new course on private clouds and System Center 2012

Dear Colleagues!

In March-April of this year in several cities of Russia, we conducted a series of events “IT Camps: clouds without bla-bla-bla”. The material of these seminars formed the basis of the course “Building a Private Cloud Using System Center 2012” , which is now available on the Microsoft Virtual Academy training portal.

The course includes five modules that reveal the main stages of creating a private cloud using System Center 2012:

• Windows Server 2012 - the foundation of a private cloud
• The concept of a private cloud and its implementation using System Center 2012
• Private Cloud Infrastructure
• Automate the provision of IT services
• Application Lifecycle Management

The current material focuses on the capabilities of the RTM version of System Center and the management of Windows Server 2008 R2 servers (although not only by them). In the future, we plan to update the course taking into account the capabilities of System Center 2012 SP1, a preliminary version of CTP2 which can be downloaded now and focus on managing Windows Server 2012.
