In May of this year, the research holding
ROMIR Monitoring conducted the next all-Russian survey, during which respondents were asked the question “Do you use a mobile phone?”. In total, 1,600 Russians over 18 years of age were surveyed in more than 100 cities and towns of Russia in the national representative sample. The margin of error does not exceed ± 2.5%.
As the results of the study showed, 62% of Russians use mobile communications, 38% of respondents, respectively, answered the question in the negative.
The average mobile penetration rate in Russia is 62%. In general, the level of mobile penetration in different regions is practically the same as the national average.
