Attack visualization

There is nothing good about cyber attacks. More precisely, it was not until the NICT (National Institute of Information and Communications Technology) created an attack alert visualization system, called Daedalus.

The system monitors over 190,000 IP addresses throughout Japan. Instead of following suspicious activity and issuing a bunch of graphs and tables at the output, which sometimes is not so easy to understand, the system creates 3D visualization.

You can view in detail all the networks and subnets, separately shows the activity of the used IP.

So far it is said that the system will be useful for corporations and educational institutions, but nothing is known about the approximate cost of its deployment.
