A small set of installed programs for Windows Phone
I will allow myself to publish the list of programs that I have been using for quite some time on Windows Phone. I spent quite a lot of time, while choosing from a dozen similar programs, those that more closely match the design guidelines, are more stable and at the same time quite functional. Sometimes each of several similar programs has its own "killer feature", in this case, all are listed.
Of course, I could miss some pearls, in this case I will be very happy to see the links in the comments and include them in the list.
It is possible that comments on programs hurt your eyes; write, if so - I will correct.
I also add that some of the programs cost money, but in all these cases the price seems adequate to me, and the system of buying in the marketplace is simple enough not to be an obstacle to the promotion of the developer.
PS Sorry for not bringing up the screenshots, I didn’t expect such a sheet to work out, I just wanted to share it, I think it might be useful for beginners.
Navigation
Yandex Maps are good maps for Moscow and the rest of Russia.
gMaps Pro - consider these to be the official Google maps for Windows Phone
Simple OSM client for OSM, in some things better than all other map programs (bookmarks and compass, for example)
Jack of tools - compass, altitude, speed, return to base and similar utilities + level indicator
Radar - put points and go back to them offline, you only need jeepies
In the underground
')
Mosmetro - shows only the most optimal route, but with the duration of the transitions, you can specify the desired intermediate station
Metro maps - you need two tapes to select a station (“from here” or “here”), but it’s much more beautifully drawn + there is a link in the real map + shows all decent routes
geekMetro - subway maps for many cities, several routes + transit time, but sometimes not beautiful (raster, albeit quality) maps take off
SilverDict is a cool interface, but a giant dictionary repository for all languages that are downloaded by OTA in one tap, with the further possibility of using it offline, so we tolerate
Dictionary is an excellent interface, but the base of the explanatory English dictionary of 1913, so sometimes the explanation is not entirely clear, we rejoice at the super interface
Hacking
TouchDevelop - development environment inside the phone, a big thing from Microsoft Research
OneNote is just a super program, but a ugly web client and no client for Mac. such cases, we still use for recordings from the phone, when the web client starts cooling down on evernote :)
