According to Appleinsider.com, a source close to Apple said that in the past 1.5 years, a small group of Apple engineers led the development of a new generation of handheld computers - a modern version of the Newton PDA that died in the 90s. After the successful launch of iPhone, work on a new project using the same multi-touch technology has intensified.
