I don’t know how the% Habrayuser% is, but I almost every day have to run through blogs or news sites and open all articles through the “read more” links. Often this is due to the proofreading of the site and verification of the work of the authors, and sometimes during a simple viewing. If this is done every day on the same site, there is a sense of loss of time.
The year to that on Habré was
presented service Brief.ly, with which you can send a set of URLs with one link and open them in tabs. A little bit later, the ability to
import an arbitrary feed was added to this service. But this innovation has remained invisible, as it is deeply hidden. With time, the service was improved and
added new features - and a new site
Feed2Tabs was opened for working with feeds (RSS, atom, etc.).
')
It works very simply. Just insert the feed address, for example:
http://habrahabr.ru/rss/hubs/
In response, we will get a link that will open the last 10 posts of Habr in separate tabs:
http://apicall.feed2tabs.com/?f=http%3A%2F%2Fhabrahabr.ru%2Frss%2Fhubs%2F&fn=10
The content of all pages is loaded immediately, so that you can view all articles by clicking the mouse on the top menu.
If anyone needs to transfer the content to the browning tabs - to do this, click the last icon below in the content tab.
In addition to the standard API links that we can get by default, you can also:
- create a short link for yourself (“Create a short link”) - i.e. remember the feed and always upload fresh articles from it - for example http://habr.feed2tabs.com/
- “Take a photo” of the feed (“Take a snapshot and create a short link”) - i.e. remember current articles
- or change the “photo” settings, headers, etc. before creating a short link (“Take a snapshot, let’s create a short link”)
For fans of WordPress, there is even a ready
- made
plug -
in .
From the previously noted flaws, I must say that if the site has JavaScript code for jumping out of frames, then it is necessary to disable the option to show feed elements in tabs through the settings of Feed2Tabs. But this happens quite rarely.
By the way, the service is completely free. The guys successfully
earn corporate accounts when they clone the Brief.ly technology to the domains of other companies.
Here it is such a simple, but often useful
Feed2Tabs .
