A fan of old technology restored Apple II

This guy, Todd Harrison, bought a used Apple II and did what any self-respecting geek would do: put the machine in order and launch BASIC.

The car was in pretty poor condition. When the computer was turned on for the first time, it almost burned down, a bundle of peanuts and a Hayes Microcomputer modem were found inside. Todd rubbed the components with alcohol and cleaning agent and brought the machine back to life.

- My first computer in my life was the Apple II Plus. It was in high school, so I didn't have much time to work with him. I was obsessed with computers. I really enjoyed working for the Apple II, but then my parents bought a Commodore 64 home, and for a long time I had to work on it.

In the video - the result of his efforts . He put everything in order, including CRT and disks, and then launched BASIC. Click on the link, this is his blog, there is the whole process in detail.

It would be great if our children treated the old technology in the same way - with respect and respect. Imagine, after 40 years, your kid will dig up an old iPod at home and will complain about its size and lack of bio interfaces.
