We are pleased to announce that the project “Your cinema” announced the beginning of a user vote for the semifinalists. “Your Cinema” is a global competition that brought together the Venice Film Festival , the Ridley Scott film studio Scott Free, Emirates and the cinema community on YouTube in search of new talented filmmakers. Among the 50 finalists, there is also an author from Russia - Andrey Zagidullin with the movie Start the Engine and reverse (Turn on the engine and turn it back).
The Scott Free team selected 50 works from more than 15,000 short films produced by contestants around the world. Now it's time for you, our users, to vote for the best works and decide who will be among the 10 lucky ones who will go to the Venice Film Festival.

In Venice, the films of 10 finalists will appear before a professional jury, one of whose members will be actor Michael Fassbender, the hero of the film Prometheus - the main blockbuster of this summer. The jury will be led by Ridley Scott himself. The finalists will also be able to present their next project to Ridley Scott in order to win a grant of 500,000 dollars to produce the following original film works for his own YouTube channel with his team.
