30 most popular passwords stolen from LinkedIn

The topic of password leakage of a popular service will not subside on the Internet. Rapid7 analyzed 165,000 hashes and created the most popular infographics.

Quite expectedly, the “link” password appeared in the first place - 941 times.

The number of digital passwords is inversely proportional to their “complexity”:
"1234" - 435 passwords
“12345” - 179 passwords
“123456” - 76 passwords
“1234567” - 28 passwords

Given the focus of the resource, the popularity of the “work” (294), “job” (205) and “career” (26) passwords is not surprising.

Religious users quite often reflect this in their passwords: “god” (214), “angel” (176), “jesus” (95).

And of course the standard set for the Internet: “sex” (119), “fuck” (85), “bitch” (65) and “dick” (60).

Curious as well passwords "michael" (52) and "jordan" (48) - whether proper names, or in honor of the famous basketball player.
