Apple has updated a bit and Mac Pro

Everyone has been waiting for a long time (see: “The Mac Pro has disappeared in the Apple Store” ), wrote petitions (see: Mac Pro Fate: Facebook petition in defense of the most powerful Apple desktops is gaining momentum ), and finally it happened - Apple reacted to pleadings users and slightly updated the hardware professional stations Mac Pro - see: Apple Store

But the truth is that the update is hardly noticeable, fundamentally little has changed, no new design has appeared, and there are no long-awaited Thunderbolt ports :(
As far as I understand, for the same or even slightly less money, Apple now sells hardware Mac Pro with slightly improved performance:
* Instead of Intel Xeon E5620 processors with the “Westmere” core, now there are Intel Xeon E5645 processors with the “Gulftown” core.
* Previously, the minimum configuration went processors 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, now the minimum configuration starts from 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon.
* In the minimum configuration, instead of 3 GB of RAM, now comes as much as 6 GB (and less no longer give).

But I personally wish that Apple did not want to fundamentally change something in the Mac Pro lineup, apparently this product is still living its last year :(
