"Summary" - A 5-year student of the Faculty of Informatics and Mathematics at the Issyk-Kul State University named after K. Tynistanov was detained in Karakol city for spreading computer viruses.
According to the police department of the Issyk-Kul region, an unknown person intentionally created and distributed computer viruses in the region called “BORUBASH-MIRLAN” and “KONURBAI”, which harm the personal computer operating system.
Many users suffered from these computer viruses, including government institutions in the Issyk-Kul region, because the installed anti-virus programs on many personal computers did not recognize the above-mentioned computer viruses.
In the course of conducting operational-search activities, a 23-year-old resident of the village of Boru-Bash of Ak-Suu district O.M.

The detainee fully admitted his guilt and voluntarily issued his personal computer on which viruses were created, as well as a flash card through which the above-mentioned computer viruses were spread. In addition, the detainee was found unlicensed anti-virus program "Kashgar sword", which he created, as an antidote to computer viruses "BORUBASH-MIRLAN" and "KONURBAI".
On this fact, the materials collected under investigation are transferred to the State Committee for National Security in the Issyk-Kul region for a decision on the merits, according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
