Ridley Scott has finished work on a new version of his film Blade Runner.
The film “Blade Runner”, which appeared on screens in 1982, went unnoticed at first. The small budget of the film did not allow director Ridley Scott to realize all his ideas. Despite many shortcomings, the film found its viewer.
In 1992, Ridley Scott released a director's version of the film, in which he edited the final scenes, removed voice-overs.
The director did not stop at that. He continued to work on the film, mostly on special effects.
The result of this work will be Blade Runner: The Final Cut, which will appear in theaters in New York and Los Angeles in October 2007. In December, the film will be released on DVD.
