IT Infoart Stars has sent a proposal to companies and organizations to support their own initiative consisting of several points: to appoint September 30 as Internet Day, to celebrate it annually and to conduct a census of the Russian-speaking Internet population. At that time, the number of users reached 1 million.
May 17, 1991 - another birthday of the Internet. Until that day, there was e-mail, newsletters, and file downloads. And on May 17, 1991, the standard for WWW (World Wide Web) pages was approved - in fact, this is what we mean today when we speak about the Internet.
