2GIS knows where to go for lunch
To make it easier for our users to choose the place for lunch, we phoned thousands of catering establishments in more than 150 cities and added additional useful details to 2GIS Online and API .
Our data collection technologies allowed us to collect these data in just one month. And this is more than 150 cities! And, of course, the accuracy of this information traditionally meets the most stringent quality standards for the reliability of data from 2GIS.
By the way, we not only collected this information, but also made a rating on the cities studied:
As a result of the data collection, interesting statistics appeared. For example, eating three times in Gorno-Altaisk (the average bill is 320 rubles) will be possible for the same amount as at one time in Moscow (the average bill is 990 rubles). And suddenly, Surgut, Khabarovsk, Sochi and Yakutsk (from 700 to 780 rubles for dinner) entered the Top-5 of the most expensive cities in terms of public catering.

Not without interesting facts. For example, 0.54% of organizations can offer their visitors only banquets, but they have never heard about Wi-Fi and business lunches. Another 0.43% of organizations are very secretive and do not want to share such information at all, apparently considering it confidential.
There are also organizations that do not feed at home and do not organize delivery, but offer takeaway food only. Such organizations - 0.10%.
