There is a set of art books. At the moment there are about fifty. You can choose any of the books to learn English.
Each book is divided into sentences as shown in the figure below.



For each word in the English text there are dictionary entries where the translation of the word is given, its pronunciation in the form of a transcription. To assist in mastering unfamiliar English words, the interval repetition technique is used (the “learn the word” link in the figure) - the first three repetitions every day, the subsequent repetitions every three days. The minimum cycle for learning words is four repetitions or one week. For four repetitions, a new word and its pronunciation is firmly digested.

The repetition of a word consists of the following steps:
- try to remember the word and its pronunciation
- we check the correctness of the pronunciation and the meaning of the word
- we read the word in the context of a sentence



There are two important points. Through the pronunciation of the word is connected auditory memory. Properly pronouncing the word, it is easier to learn. Also, if you hear it in a speech, you can recognize it.

Through reading a word in the context of a sentence, clear associations are formed with this word, which allows you to study a large number of words. Words do not overlap and are not confused.

The scheme of learning words may be as follows.
We read the new text until about 35 new words to be learned.
Repeat them throughout the week (four repetitions: three repetitions every other day and one repetition after three days)
Next week everything repeats again. And in a year with such a schedule about 1,500 new words can be studied, which is tantamount to confident reading of English literature without a dictionary in one year.
