RED5 server

There is a task to organize a video conferencing server, based on the free RED5 server and CentOS operating system. We are faced with a number of pitfalls, in particular the lack of normal documentation for this server, and normal examples of implementation. Perhaps someone from those present at Habr faced with writing applications for the RED5 server. It's clear that you can buy a wowza or a macromedia flash server, but since the budget does not provide for this, RED5 is chosen, IMHO probably is not the best free option.
