Computex 2012 - the second day

Computex continues to delight its scope, and I continue to wander through the exhibition halls. Overclocking activity has again become a fashion trend, now for memory manufacturers. G.Skill organized a four-day marathon together with the leaders of the world overclock and motherboard manufacturers.

And this is not all interesting, we look under the cut.

All the most experienced overclockers of the planet have gathered to attempt to set a world record for the frequency of RAM. The first day was not the best, overclocking was carried out on MSI boards. I think that the guys will achieve the greatest success when using ASUS.

In addition to such activity, G.Skill presented several interesting sets of memory. For example, a set of two strips of 4 gigabytes each, capable of operating at a frequency of 2800 MHz.

Or a supersystem based on an EVGA Classified SR-X motherboard and two Intel Xeon E5-2680 processors, equipped with 96 (!) Gigabytes of RAM running at 1600 MHz.

The company Plextor conducted a demonstration of the power of their new line of SSDs M3 Pro by comparing their new product live in one system and the OCZ Vertex 3 drive. The results are certainly in favor of the M3 Pro.

Walking through the stands of Chinese manufacturers, I found a funny aquarium in which fish and monoblock swam. This method of demonstration is perfect for protected equipment.

A long-awaited device - a minicomputer on Android is already on sale. According to the manufacturer, such a gadget will cost $ 45. It has mini-HDMI, one USB port and a headphone jack. Also, the device is equipped with a microSD card reader. The latest operating system is Android 4.0.

And finally a couple of views from the windows of the exhibition center.

Stay in touch, write wishes, ask questions =). By the way, I was lucky to be invited to the PLDS concern factory (Philips & Lite-On Digital Solutions) - tomorrow I will be happy to tell you about this trip.
