The Afisha Industries company is negotiating the purchase of the NightParty.ru portal, one of the most popular club communities in Runet. Negotiations should be completed within the next two weeks. Experts believe that the deal will be useful to both parties. The cost of NightParty.ru is estimated at $ 250- $ 350 thousand.
The Afisha Industries company, part of the Prof-Media holding, is negotiating the purchase of the NightParty.ru portal. As the owner of the portal Arkady Kulev told CNews, they should be completed within the next two weeks. Mr. Kulev declined further comment.
According to experts, the deal will be beneficial to both parties: Afisha will help to enter the well-developing market of nightclubs, which grows in Moscow by an average of 20% per year, and in Russia - by 30%, and bring the project to a qualitatively new level of development and popularity, taking into account the existing experience of the company. NightParty.ru is quite an attractive asset with good attendance (about 200 thousand monthly visitors - approx. CNews.). In Finam, it is considered most appropriate for Afisha to buy 100% of the project in order not to divide their income, and for NightParty.ru, in the opinion of experts, it’s best to bring a positive decision, given that Afisha, in the case of failures, can launch a project of this kind with which the portal will be difficult to compete.
In addition, as Dmitry Stepanov, executive director of Afisha Digital, told CNews , in addition to NightParty.ru, the company is currently negotiating with several more portals. Mr. Stepanov refused to provide more detailed information before the completion of negotiations.
