The Japanese company Kyocera announced its new product in the field of telecommunications - the first mobile phone without a speaker for the transfer of sound Urbano Progresso. Initially, the device was intended for people with impaired hearing, but later decided to offer a smartphone for ordinary users.

The smartphone does not really have the usual conversational dynamics, but instead the device received a special chip that allows you to create silent vibrations that can be transmitted through the external auditory canal and interpreted into sounds and voices, thereby bypassing the eardrum. To do this, users will only need to bring the phone to your ear. According to Kyocera, this phone can be an indispensable thing for people working in noisy places. In addition to utility in a noisy environment, this method of sound transmission has other advantages. For example, for its work, it requires much less energy than a traditional speaker. That will allow the phone to work longer than usual.

Urbano Progresso itself has the characteristics of a standard mid-range cell phone. The smartphone has a dual-core 1.4 GHz processor, a 4-inch touchscreen display and an integrated 8 megapixel lens. At the moment, the device is sold only in Japan, is now being decided when it goes on sale in other countries.
