ImageCMS 3.0 release

Friends, we hurry to present you the news regarding the new release of our CMS and the innovations that take effect in connection with the release.
First of all, the beta version of the official site of the system is launched. Numerous changes reflect a change in the concept of community development and ImageCMS itself in the future. For the convenience of interaction between CMS users, developers and the community itself, we connected a personal account on the official website. The site also has a store of modules and extensions ImageCMS: now with its help, developers will be able to sell their own developments based on the system.

So, what do these changes mean for current and future ImageCMS users:
1) Development of the social component (due to the fact that we are currently working on community development, the principle of interaction with CMS users and developers has been revised):

• expansion of the forum functionality;
• active development of modules and extensions for ImageCMS;
• the creation of various earning opportunities for each member of the community (store modules and extensions, participation in tenders and projects to create websites).

We have revised the way of interaction within the community, the main goal is to work together to develop the project in the future. The community itself will be able to influence the direction of development of the system, through the forum we will be able to find out what innovations users need, except those that are provided by us.

2) The next step in development, we consider the implementation of quality user support:

• the development team based on testing and data from the forum will release intermediate versions of the system for the immediate correction of bugs;
• we deepen our participation in the forum, including with the support of users;
• For paid versions, we provide quality support services.

3) Another priority vector for us is to constantly increase the functionality of the system. We want ImageCMS to be a tool that can easily build any web project. In this regard, the ImageCMS Shop extension will be offered in two editions:

• Pro;
• Premium.

4) We continue to work on the development of existing modules of the system and on the release of new ones. To this end, we provide the opportunity for each member of the community to offer their projects in the store modules and their support for development.

5) One of the most limiting moments for our system is the lack of ImageCMS in the western market. As a result, our users could not participate in the English-speaking market with our engine. Work is already underway on the English-language localization of the system and the preparation of relevant documentation.
Due to this, our users will be able to work with customers from abroad.

The beta release of ImageCMS 3.0 contains our best practices for increasing the capabilities of the engine, as well as the elimination of identified bugs.
