
Slowly, Google is moving its chromabugs "into people", although they are being criticized by users. Nevertheless, some hardware manufacturers readily release notebook models that have been “sharpened” under
Chrome OS . One of these companies is the South Korean giant Samsung, which released two new models of chrobooks.
According to the developers, the new models allow Chrome OS to load three times faster than in the case of laptop models shown earlier. Samsung Chromebooks support hardware-accelerated graphics. The Series 5 notebooks also have an improved touchpad, with a reduced response time.

It is clear that nothing special in terms of configuration, these laptops do not represent. They were equipped with Celeron processors, 4 GB of RAM, plus 16 GB solid-state drives. In this case, the efforts of Google were also aimed at improving the functionality of the device in the absence of a connection to the Network. For example, the company is working on the possibility of offline work with Google Drive, a service integrated with the laptop's file system. A new feature will be introduced within a few weeks.
In addition, many other applications from the Chrome Web Store can work without connecting to the Web. The number of pre-installed applications include an updated media player and image editor.
The two presented notebook models differ only in the presence or absence of the 3G module. The display diagonal of these models is 12.1 inches. There are two USB ports. The cost of the older model with WiFi + 3G communication modules is $ 550, and the youngest, only with WiFi - 450.

Among other things, released and something like a nettop, called Chromebox. The configuration of this device is the same as that of laptops (except displays, of course). Plus, Chromebox has only WiFi, no 3G. Chromebox can be connected to two external displays. Its price is 330 USD.
