About consoles ...

Now, once again, I lost the TV remote control, and a thought has matured. If only the consoles had a small, inconspicuous, but loud speaker (“beeper”) on the console itself and a button to turn off this speaker, and on the TV a button activating this speaker. I lost the remote control - I pressed a button on the TV - I was looking for the remote control by sound - I turned off the speaker on the remote control, which is much easier. At the same time, the next minus is obvious - increased power consumption, because there is an energy expenditure on receiving a signal from the TV to activate the speaker, and the work of the speaker itself, because the current consoles work on the IR port, which is not very voracious in terms of energy costs. An exit - let there be a battery in the console, and in the TV a base for the console to recharge it in its free time. But for the realization of all this, it is necessary to modify both the console itself and the TV. In this case, a system consisting of two devices would be useful:

1. There is some “nozzle” on the console that includes a speaker, a button to turn it off, a module for communicating with the base and a battery.
2. Actually, there is a “base” in which you can place a “attachment” for recharging, and on which there is a button to turn on the speaker.
The minus of the solution is the need to remove the “nozzle” from the console to recharge at the base.

Both in the first and in the second case a slight increase in the size of the console is possible.
Such a system is applicable not only to the TV, but also to other devices that are conveniently controlled using the remote control.
One way or another, I would love to use such features, but the console, the infection, is often lost.
