The aesthetics of retro photos, so successfully promoted to the market by the fashionable hipster Instagram application, do not leave developers indifferent. And, apparently, attracting users to their creations does not mean only programming and common marketing techniques.
Someone Martin Strom (Martin Ström), a developer from Stockholm, created the InstaCRT app for iOS, which has one function — to apply a filter to an image so that it looks like pictures on old black-and-white tube TVs.
The finished photo looks like this: ')
However, the most curious thing is not in this, but in what is “under the hood” of InstaCRT. The application works like this:
The captured photo is sent to the media server installation, compiled by the creator of the application in Stockholm. The installation has the following form:
The picture is displayed on a CRT monitor (the video shows better), the outstanding picture as shown in the photo above, and photographed with a reflex camera.
The captured photo is sent to the owner’s iPhone in 25 seconds, where he can enjoy it to the full.

Anyone can buy an application that creates a filter in the most natural analog way in the AppStore for $ 1.99. The developer soon promises the development of the application, if it will be a success with the audience.
