Browser hacking competitions rightly enjoy increased public interest - for someone it is a chance to make sure that the choice of the most secure browser for everyday work was correct, for someone the results of the competition give arguments for browser-based wars, and someone modestly receives an impressive cash prize for the vulnerability found in the browser. Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, the organizers of such contests have so far not considered Opera as an object of hacking, but this misunderstanding will be corrected in the next few days.

We are pleased to announce that now everyone can try to hack Opera and get a well-deserved award at the Hack2own competition, which will be held in Moscow on May 30 and 31 within the framework of the Positive Technologies international organization on practical security. Competitors will have the opportunity to test popular browsers for strength in a frontal attack, as well as using plug-in gaps.
