The court really decided that Google did not violate any Oracle patent, but the situation with rangeCheck is still not resolved, as well as a number of other issues. Today’s decision does not mean that Google is not guilty, but only that Oracle’s billionth claim will not be satisfied. It is not even talking about millions. Most likely, if Google is found guilty of abusive use of these 9 lines of code, then the fine / compensation will be within the $ 150 thousand.
