Linux kernel updated to version 3.4

Yesterday, Linus Tovalds officially presented the public with a new version of the kernel with a serial number 3.4.

Major changes:

• Nvidia GeForce 600 'Kepler' support;
• Support for RadeonHD 7xxx, as well as the Trinity Series APU;
• Intel Medfield graphics support;
• Many improvements to the btrfs file system;
• Yama security module;
• X32 ABI support - 64-bit mode with 32-bit pointers;
• Autoprobing - support for automatically downloading additional drivers to enable specific features of x86 compatible processors;
• Improvements in KVM and Xen virtualization;
• Amendments to the memory management system;
• Improved network functions;
• Multiple improvements in EXT4, FUSE, NFS, XFS, HFSplus, CIFS and GFS2 file systems
