Total Commander for Android on the Play Store

Yesterday Total Commander appeared in the Play Store and its three plugins - FTP, LAN and WebDAV. The official release happened almost a year after the release of the first preview version last July.



The problem of the appearance of Total Commander in the official store, however, was not at all in the creation of the application itself, but in the need to support it. The author of the program, Christian Gisler, previously said in general that he was not going to upload the application on the official website, because he did not want to spend money on supporting the application, which was, is and will be free. What has changed is difficult to say - maybe Total Commander for Android has gone through all childhood diseases and has become quite stable, maybe Christian has defined a monetization strategy.

The Android version of Total Commander can do almost everything the same as the desktop one - copy, delete, work with archives, change rights, edit and view texts, search, etc. Supports Russian language.
