Amazon has decided to make money on advertisements placed on the start screen of the Kindle Fire reader. At the same time, the cost of advertising is very big - accommodation for two months with access to the “Special Offers” service amounts to 600 thousand dollars. So far it is unclear whether the ads will be placed on the start screen of existing models of the Kindle Fire, or whether all this is relevant for the future model.

It is likely that Kindle Fire users will not like this. After all, to pay for the device itself, to subscribe to services for the device, and then also to see some kind of advertising is unlikely to be pleasant to someone. So far, the format of the advertisement itself is questionable - it is not clear whether the advertisement will be displayed on the screen when the device starts, or on the lock screen.

Previously, the company has already tested the performance of such a service by running it on the Kindle Wi-Fi reader model. For “advertising” readers, the price was lowered by $ 25. At the same time advertising was shown on the lock screen (standby). It is likely that this experience will be repeated on the new models - especially since the price of advertising is rather big, and this can be a good source of income for Amazon.

It is possible to repeat the situation with the price reduction for "promotional" Kindle models. Although there is the option of developing a different model of advertising. Anyway, the owners of the device, or potential buyers, are unlikely to appreciate such an advertising service, if none of the Kindle buyers will receive any bonuses.
