(Office) Open XML

Microsoft promotes its open format to the ISO standard, opensource lovers rage.

I don’t know, maybe life with ODF could actually be less problematic, but even if OOXML is adopted as a standard, it will also be positive. At the very least, working with them is much easier than with a binary doc (which was a de facto standard and without ISO standardization)
