Hi, Derik! Who is the target audience of your master class ?

Hello! Everyone who heard or did not hear about MongoDB and NoSQL and wants to know when to use them and how to do it correctly. I will also talk about a different type of thinking that is needed in order to rebuild the data into more appropriate "documents", compared to relational databases.


Are you one of the PHP team? Could you tell us a little about yourself? How did you do PHP?

I started using PHP to scan pages for email addresses, and then spam them with Schumacher news, or rather black PR. Seriously, I started using PHP about 14 years ago for local company sites. I immediately discovered several features that I lacked (getimagesize () for .swf files, for example), so I decided to bring my knowledge of C into shape and Add this feature yourself.

What projects are you currently working on and why?

During business hours, I do a PHP module for MongoDB. Most of my free time is spent on XDebug , but I also spend enough time adding data to the OpenStreetMap project. This, however, does not include programming. XDebug and related utilities like VLD (Vulcan Logic Dumper) are quite complex projects and it is always a pleasure to dive into them and thus maintain your level of knowledge of PHP internals.
