Hackspace do it yourself

Interested in information security? .. Want to know more about cybercrime, DDoS protection, security of critical applications, SCADA and ERP systems? .. There will be no interesting conferences in your city in the near future, and come to Positive Hack Days 2012 by for some reason it does not work? ..

Do not despair! First of all, there is surely a place in your city where hackers gather. It is likely that a videoconference will be organized there, so that everyone who wishes can take part in the forum at a distance, communicate with their own kind and once again strain the convolutions, fighting with other hackers. A list of similar locations in different cities is presented on the official PHDays 2012 website.

We have already joined Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Kiev, Samara, Taganrog, Khabarovsk, as well as the capital of Tunisia, Tunis and the Indian city of Kollam. For those who will be in Moscow during PHDays, the doors of the Neuron Hackspace platform will open around the clock.

How to be?

You and your friends can become the center of a local hacker party, and organize your own Internet platform for remote participation in the forum - as part of our PHDays Everywhere initiative.

You and visitors to your event will be able to:

• watch the forum broadcast in HD format (in Russian and English);
• participate in discussions and ask questions to speakers online;
• take part in a hacking and data protection competition, demonstrate your hacking skills and, of course, receive prizes.

What do you need to participate in PHDays everywhere?

• The premises, which will be available for visiting during the days of the forum on May 30 and 31, 2012, if possible - around the clock. Hacker tournament will last from 10 am on May 30 to 5 pm on May 31 (Moscow time) - without a break for rest.
• An Internet channel with a bandwidth of at least 1 Mbit / s for each of the six video streams.
• At least one projector (preferably more).
• It is advisable to give visitors of your event an opportunity to connect to the Internet so that they can communicate with other guests and take part in the competition.
• Provide two-way communication with the community at the forum - for a full and mutually pleasant communication.

To view the broadcast, you can use any browser that supports the latest versions of Flash and HTML5.
