The history of the lingual web service LinguaLeo began with a 6-month development on this island in Thailand. It was there that a small team released a beta version of the service. Sea and Jungle helped!

More than two years have passed. Today, there are 1,300,000 registered users on LinguaLeo, the daily audience is about 80,000 people. But while LinguaLeo is available only for Russian-speaking users ... There is an iPhone application and a beta version of the WinPhone application, but there is no Android application ... There is a Jungle , a convenient personal dictionary and workout for expanding vocabulary, but there are almost no tools for learning grammar and phrases ... And all this is so close, so necessary, and so important for humanity, the qualitative study of foreign languages. In addition, a million service audience still does not have the opportunity to communicate with each other live and practice English ...

What to do?

We have a good old hack - to leave the entire development team (now ~ 20 people) to another world, free from the conventions of the metropolis. Devote a week to communication, understanding the problems of users learning languages, discussing ideas and concepts. And then - a maximum of communication, teamwork and drive to achieve the goal: the desired releases!
