In the footsteps of the previous topic , in which it turned out that Zune can not properly export the playlist.

Having been freed from Zune, I decided to figure out what the trouble was. Let me remind you the background: Zune converts playlists into the internal zpl format, freely moving / deleting / duplicating items in the list at its discretion.

No sooner said than done. Format, good, trivial. We take and generate zpl hands.

Then the beautiful begins. One has only to try to lose this playlist, as Zune silently and without any warnings scrubs the file, throwing back all the same dismemberment.

What adds some special fun is the fact that some list items have src and title mixed up - that is, The link shows one file, and the title writes from the other.

Okay, try to solve the problem differently. Download mp3tag and with it we prescribe tags to all mp3-files. In mp3tag, by the way, like the rest of the software that I use (AIMP, VLC, ffmpeg) there are no complaints about these files, everything works with a bang.


We look at the 6th sonata: three files - Allegro, Allegretto, Presto. Tags are written without problems. VLC reproduces, too, without any complaints.

Open the Zune. Everything, two files from three evaporated in an unknown direction:



With the rest of the sonatas the same garbage. Some tracks are simply not displayed. On the phone, respectively, too.

And, which is typical, if you look at the very zpl that started it all, then the same files disappear. For example, allegretto from the 6th sonata in zpl is, and it normally plays.

By the way, mp3 Zune curves are quite self-evident and even warns that they are curves:

I do not understand how to write such software, and, moreover, how to put such shit code in production. How do I get to the maykrosoftovskogo support, I also do not understand - the post on Habr and the answers did not give any effect, I no longer found any opportunity to seek technical support. Somehow this is not comme il faut for a company that sells the operating system for premium mobile phones.

In general, I really do not really know what to do with this brick for 25K, which is not able to perform the functions of the most trivial mp3-player for 3K.
