Not silencing the debate about the "electromagnetic smog", which, according to some assurances, does not affect the human body, and according to others, leads to unpleasant changes that do not appear immediately, but still manifest, it seems, got their solution.
About 8 years ago, wallpaper was developed, blocking radio signals of a certain frequency, which had one major drawback - the price of $ 800. Now, a group of developers from the Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble were able to obtain such technology of making "anti-Wi-Fi" paper, at which the cost of its roll is quite comparable with the cost of an expensive, but still accessible roll of wallpaper. Sales will begin next year.
Technically, the situation is the following: when printing, a thin layer of silver crystals is applied to the paper, arranged in special patterns, which, in fact, block the radio waves of the frequency at which Wi-Fi works. It is curious that the "protective" wallpaper can be left under the others - in a neutral color or pattern, or even covered with a layer of paint - the effect will remain.

Thus, it will soon be possible to create special rooms that are completely free of radio emission from the outside - however, you will have to paste over everything. Also, new wallpapers are supposed to be used to strictly limit the operation of wireless and other networks, which is important for organizations with a high level of security.
