Three stuffing "HTML - this is not for interfaces" - this is too much.
Gentlemen, instead of the dull screenshot of 20 years ago, take another look at the interfaces of Google Plus, Analytics, Facebook and feel all their coolness!
All this is built on the usual HTML!
Personally, I have no idea how to make such a cool control by any other means:
HTML, CSS, Javascript are great!
And, it seems to me, I know the secret of the guys from the coolest teams:
