The first report will take place on May 11 at 11:00 (Moscow, 1st Zachatievsky Pereulok, 4, International Information and Exhibition Center "Infospace").
Topic: "Cloud platforms for Java: how they are arranged and how they differ." The topic is now very relevant, because modern cloud platforms are far ahead compared to traditional hosting and offer the user automatic scaling, convenient integration with development tools, the ability to build projects in the cloud and much more. In this report, we will look at the main solutions competing today in the Java PaaS market: Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Google App Engine and Jelastic.
We compare them according to the following criteria:
- global availability;
- the possibility of choosing a hosting provider;
- scaling;
- used virtualization layers;
- supported technology stack;
- replication of sessions and databases;
- the possibility of building a project in the cloud;
- interface;
- payment model.
We hope that this report will help you understand the advantages and disadvantages of the major players in the PaaS market.
