This is dedicated to the Munchkin

I love casual games. What is the use of buying a box with a bunch of discs, where five gigabytes are occupied by videos, and the rest is filled with supposedly carefully drawn textures and models. The engine devours absolutely all the resources of a rapidly aging computer, but for some reason there is no gameplay. Therefore, I don’t mind digging around on the Web and finding something as conceptual and innovative as possible, written by a talented student on his knee. Once I found ProgressQuest , and now I decided to tell about it on Habré.
We saw all kinds of RPGs - atmospheric, like Gothic, beautiful, like TES, addictive, like Diablo, slashers like Sudeki, “smart” like Baldur's Gate, stylish like Fallout, and even text “bagels” - I don’t remember the name , that was a long time ago. But there were no games where the player should only create a character for himself, and then just watch his development.

So, at the beginning we create a character for ourselves, call it, choose a race - there is a huge list of them with a bunch of various funny gems like Half Halfing or Dung Elf, a class - and also a lot, and you also have to break your head when choosing. And finally, we select the basic characteristics like strength, dexterity, etc. To do this, we stupidly click on the “Roll” button until the random number generator creates a build that you think is appropriate for this character. By the way, the sum of the characteristics also differs from time to time and can sometimes greatly change the "game", so I advise you not to be lazy and "roll" until you make a really cool build.
And then the gameplay itself begins. AI itself goes to swing, he dresses himself, he teaches skills. In the window with the usual Windows interface, the current action of the character, his gear, completed and current quests, inventory, experience, spells are displayed ... You are not doing anything. The AI is responsible for everything. Having admired the growing stats, just turn the game to the tray - let yourself swing for your pleasure. This happiness consumes a minimum of resources, the game can be saved, there is a network mode - who will swing faster ... The main disadvantage is English, sometimes quite complicated. Although, I think, this amateur is not a hindrance. Is this not happiness for a real munchkin? ..
