Mobile phone with a projector shown "live"

Dear Engadget resource continually sends its residents to various events, since there are quite a few of them in the USA. Those, in turn, bring out a lot of interesting materials. In particular, the other day the guys managed to attend an event called Pepcom, where Texas Instruments demonstrated the working porotype of a mobile phone with a built-in micro-projector.

In recognition of the Engadzhets, for the first time they managed to get acquainted with the device so closely that it is not surprising: until recently, TI tried not to show its offspring “alive” at all. And the point here is not so much in the desire of the manufacturer to intrigue consumers, as in the banal "dampness" of the product.

As seen in the photo, the brightness of the picture and its quality as a whole so far leave much to be desired, although even this result is impressive.

According to representatives of TI, in this prototype a laser is used as a light source, because the quality of the displayed image is still lame, but the next iterations of the device will receive an LED source.

The only thing that Engadget journalists could not find out about is the timing of the commercial version of a mobile phone with a projector.
