In Finland, created a search engine for Russian sites
Finland has created a virtual search engine dedicated to Russia. The presentation of the project, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of Finland, was held on Tuesday at the University of Helsinki.
The purpose of the site, according to the authors, was to systematize information about where on the Internet you can find information about Russia on various topics. As the project manager Tanya Pursiainen told (Tanja Pursiainen), on russiainfo.org links are collected and organized according to a thematic principle to websites devoted to various spheres of Russian life, aspects of state and territorial organization.
Each link has brief information in Finnish. Material from Russian-language sites a database user who does not speak Russian can translate into English using an electronic translator that is on the site.
