Begins, an open beta of the
Neighbors Online project has
begun . This is an interesting project that combines the functionality of a social network and an information portal with geo-targeting.
The goal of the project is the same as in
the recently opened MirTesen.ru project , that is, to give users the opportunity to find out what is happening in their area, what useful places and interesting people are nearby. To help find friends in your home or porch, find like-minded people and provide an opportunity to exchange views.
An important feature of the new service is the Google Maps, which displays interesting places, upcoming events and people. On the map you can, for example, display all roller skating enthusiasts in your area. In other sections of the map you can see the locations of the upcoming events, information about which is published immediately. And of course, on the map are those places that the project users found interesting, to them, visitors to the resource add their reviews.

It is obvious that the developers of "Neighbors Online" did not copy the development of competitors "MirTesen", but simply did not have time to open before them.
The site “Neighbors” is a virtual image of the city, which is formed by the users themselves as they see it. For convenience, all information on the site is structured by districts. Every day there are hundreds of news and announcements of upcoming events, many reviews of interesting and useful places - shops, pharmacies, kindergartens, parks, cinemas and other socially significant objects. All this is done by the efforts of the “Neighbors” team and the users themselves. By registering, you can add new objects to the site, edit existing ones and express your opinion in the form of reviews to objects, as well as comments on your local forum.
To prevent chaos, the site has several levels of protection against spam, including permanent moderation and the ability to complain about bad content. It is possible to vote for good reviews, thereby improving their position and enhancing the status of the authors of these reviews.
In the near future, resource development plans include connecting the Moscow region and large cities of Russia, as well as building up social and informational components.
