New look at CodePlex

As I said a month ago , we are already working to improve the usability of the CodePlex community. Today I am pleased to announce the release of the new CodePlex interface! Our goal is to update the look of the site in a modern Metro style.

This is the first step in our further investment to improve usability on the site. Please let us know your opinion about him! In addition, if you see any errors or something that does not look quite right on new pages, contact us .

Changed homepage design

We wanted to make it easier to find common actions in CodePlex. So feel at home: when you go to the main page, you will find large tiles for activities such as creating or searching for a project.

Simplify project creation

We also simplified the creation of new projects. Previously, the creation of the project consisted of filling in a large number of fields, a contract flag, CAPTCHA, and also took up three pages.







Now, creating a project consists of two fields and choosing your preferences for managing the source code. Much easier.
