I have been a Webmoney user since 2005, if not earlier. Since 2006 I am the owner of a personal certificate.
For all this time, I had only one negative experience - going through the procedure of restoring control over the certificate. The whole epic took almost a month, it was in 2007 and took almost a month, about 1000 WMZ “hung” on the account then.
')
And just the other day, the next "Surprise", associated with the renewal of the personal certificate.
It consisted in the fact that updating the certificate does not work at all in IE9 and Windows 7. Yes, yes, the browser is bad, losing popularity and all that.
But for Webmoney, this is still the # 1 browser (and I use the Light version). So historically.
I have never had a problem updating my certificate. Everything always went smoothly, quickly. This time, the process just hangs on installing the certificate. It looks like this:

A quick googling revealed that the
problem arose not only from me . I tried to contact support (I always do this, I try to report problems that have arisen in the process of working with this or that project) - I was sent to the procedure of restoring control over the certificate (and this was shown by practice - about a month of time + loading scans of passport pages, not a very pleasant procedure).
And this is despite the fact that I have a working certificate and even the time of his work has not yet passed. Moreover, I asked only about which link you can again request certificate generation, since I used the help link in the Webmoney Light interface and closed it after that.
As a result, the situation was resolved successfully - I
found the link here and used Firefox, importing my certificate into it (I always make backups immediately after the update and store it on a removable hard drive).
I wonder how much the company and its support will stand back to their users and force people to look for answers to fairly simple questions and solutions without contributing to the ease of doing business with their system, but only complicating it?
Why not do everything humanly, for people?
I hope the problem is not massive, but local or temporary. If nevertheless massive - then this is a huge fact. Be careful, update certificates, I warned you.
PS The settings in Internet Explorer with the recommended Webmoney checked, did not change anything else, because I do not use it at all. As it was installed in the system, it was still used purely for Webmoney.
PS2. As I found out in the process of finding a solution with updating the certificate, you can use Google Chrome to work with Webmoney Light, it pulls certificates from Internet Explorer. I imported a certificate into it and Internet Explorer is no longer needed for Webmoney.
