Yandex opens music search

Yandex has opened a new service - search by music . All digital stores and other sites that have music archives, both paid and free, are invited to cooperate. The only mandatory condition is the availability of rights to distribute records.

“Yandex.Music is a kind of showcase for the music market, where only those sources that offer high-quality music and provide us with guarantees of the legitimacy of their rights are exhibited,” said Ilya Polozhintsev, head of e-commerce at Yandex. “We expect Yandex.Music to provide a significant influx of audience to music sites.”
