"Yandex" struggles with traffic jams

Starting today, Yandex.Maps show “Traffic jams in Moscow” - data on how busy the streets of the capital are. Traffic information is updated every four minutes.

"Yandex.Maps" publish relevant data on the traffic situation on all major highways of Moscow and the nearest Moscow region. The map highlights the streets on which traffic jams arose and the direction of obstructed traffic (“from the region” or “to the region”, “on the outside of the Moscow Ring Road” or “on the inside”). For each problem section of the road, you can get additional information - the time of occurrence and the length of traffic jams. Traffic jams can also be viewed and printed as a text summary.

“The busy state of the capital’s highways is constantly changing information,” said Maria Laufer, Yandex.Maps service manager. “Now the map of Moscow is not only a static reference, but also a tool for monitoring and planning trips around the city.”
