Launched direct sales of Galaxy Nexus on Google Play

Google is returning to the smartphone business - the direct sales of Galaxy Nexus on Google Play have started today (for some unknown reason, the page is not working now, probably only from Russia). For a phone that is not attached to the operator, they are asked only $ 399 .

In fact, this is the same Galaxy Nexus that Sprint and Verizon are selling: a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED, a 1.2 GHz processor with two cores, 1 GB of memory and a 5 megapixel camera, Android 4.0.

As in the version for Sprint, the smartphone can work with Google Wallet (Google puts even $ 10 into it when purchasing), but unlike them, it only has 16 GB of storage, not 32.

So far, the unlocked Galaxy Nexus is sold only in the US, but the company plans to transfer the experience to other countries. It is likely that soon tablets and other smartphones will appear in the “Devices” section.
