
Google has announced the appointment of Jennifer Trelevich as director of the Google development center in Russia. In this position, she will replace Sergei Burkov, who organized the work of the Moscow center more than a year ago. Jennifer will oversee global projects implemented by Russian engineers, as well as developments for the local market.
Prior to joining Google, Ms. Trelevich served as director of the IBM Systems and Technologies Laboratory in Russia, which she created from scratch. Under her leadership, the staff of the laboratory increased to 130 people. Jennifer Trelevich is an expert in algorithms, databases and Internet technologies.
